Deadline to Submit Nominations for Faculty Governance Committees Is Feb. 27

If you’ve ever been interested in serving on a faculty committee, now is the time to throw your name in the hat.

Nominations for the following committees will be accepted through Feb. 27: 

General Faculty Standing Committees

  • Faculty Benefits
  • Faculty Honors
  • Faculty Status & Grievance
  • Statutes 
  • Academic Services
  • Welfare & Security

Academic Faculty Standing Committees

  • Undergraduate Curriculum (only faculty from the colleges of computing, engineering, science and liberal arts are needed at this time)
  • Graduate Curriculum (only faculty from the colleges of architecture, engineering and liberal arts are needed at this time)
  • Student Regulations
  • Student Academic & Financial Affairs
  • Student Activities
  • Student Grievance & Appeals
  • Student Honor
  • Student Computer Ownership
  • Academic Integrity

Email all nominations and self-nominations to nominations@lists.gatech.edu. Those who are selected by the Faculty Nominations Committee for the final ballot will be notified. Faculty who are elected to the committees will serve from August 2013 through August 2016.
